Fashion Week

Today is the first day of Milan's Spring/Summer Fashion Week. This is one of my favorite fashion weeks and cities. Tomorrow is when my favorite designer VERSACE shows. So what should we expect from the designers in Milan? I'm pretty excited maybe one day I'll be showing in Milan.

Magazine News

Janet Jackson to be on front cover of the fashion magazine, Harper's Bazzar. This is her first interview since her brother Michael died. The magazine is on news stands now.

You can also catch her opening up at the VMA's with a tribute performance to her brother(The King of Pop) on 9/13 @ 9:00 on MTV. YOU GO girl.

Fashion to Me

My love for fashion is more lke a passion. I don't want to be in this huge industry for the fun. It's more so for the feeling. I know it's the feeling because when im in fabric stores I know I can stay there forever.

Fashion to me is like a form of art. I use it for its self expression. Fashion can tell strangers what mood your in without you even expressing yourself, it can tell where your from without showing your licence plates, fashion can tell your occupation it can even show your age.

A fashion designer and photographer named Cecil Beaton once said,"Be daring, be diffrent, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary."
